Logo fails: Once you've see it, you can't unsee it

Hannah Allen | 08-02-21

An article caught my attention this morning. It was a story of a shopping site's monogram logo.

An activist reported the logo to the police for being overtly sexual... and "insulting & offensive",

Myntra an Indian clothing company were reported to the Mumbai cyber police in late 2020 after it was claimed that the overlapping central orange columns looked a little too much like a woman with her legs open.

The e-commerce brand have now changed the logo somewhat, but according to Twitter the damage has been done.

Twitter, as always, is the gift that keeps on giving with reports people are now filing lawsuits for half cut oranges.

As the saying goes, you can't please all of the people, all of the time.
